I was introduced to XANGO in August 2004 by my sponsors Bob & Barbara Schmidt. Bob & Barbara strongly encouraged me to be there. I didn't have a lot of expendable income at the time, but my sponsors said it's that important to be there.
Bob has always talked about leveraging other people's stories and that you should have 12 product stories and 12 business stories. I came back from that event with tons of stories, business cards, and contacts.
You come back from something like that, your excitement level is so high you're just bullet proof. Nobody can shoot you down; nobody can discourage you. It's contagious. It's really important to put yourself into those situations that help you get excited.
